Dormant Grass in California Drought

Depending on the type of soil you have 1/2″ to 4″ of water is needed a couple of times per week to keep grass a vibrant green color, but California is facing one of the most severe droughts on record. As California places water restrictions while preparing for continued water shortages, the grass on residents’ lawns has gone dormant. Residents and businesses appreciate the look of a lush, green lawn and this can be obtained even during the California drought.

Lawn Paint Sprayed on Dormant Grass

Chromatech’s lawn paint concentrate is non-hazardous and, when diluted and sprayed on your dormant lawn, will keep the grass looking green for six to eight weeks. Look at these before and after pictures taken of a California lawn:

What a nice lawn painting job!

Chromatech’s lawn paint is available in 2200 lbs. totes, 450 lbs. drums, and 11 x 40 lbs. pails.
